Hey brothers. Just a quick note. Heb 4:12 does not talk about scripture; it talks about the word incarnate. Pay close attention to 4:13... "And before HIM no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of HIM with whom we have to do." So, it does not say "it" which would be then referring to scripture, but it says "him" which refers to the word incarnate.

Summer is like a field of daisies because you always want more time for them to grow. Have you ever thought as a student that we have really short summers? Well, I sure have. Summer is very fun, and I think that summer should be longer! Do you think so? The 1st thing is you really never get enough time to hang out with friends. If students had more time during the summer, they could have more sleepovers. Some people ask why do you need to have sleepovers and time to socialize? It's so kids can come back to school and feel refreshed, like when you drink a cold bottle of water after running a mile. Kids just need the time to make sure they feel ready to learn the next time you go to school. Next, a long summer break gives students time to unwind and get rid of extra stress. This break lets students forget about school and live their lives easier without all the homework, classwork, tests, and projects. Students also get time away from all the troubles that other students may cause. With shorter breaks, teachers would have less time to recover from stress. Tired teachers are less able to plan, grade, manage behavior, and keep instruction engaging and rigorous. Students also use the extended summer break as a time to rest and recuperate from the demands of the school year. It also ensures that, when they return to school, they will be in a fresh mindset to learn. Aside from academics, longer breaks would also affect students involved in sports and other extracurricular activities. Children need a break from the stress and pressure of school, homework, tests, and extracurricular activities. They need time to relax, play, explore, and enjoy their childhood. Summer vacations also provide opportunities for children to learn new skills, and hobbies.

the problem is coercive schooling! not the teacher! we have to stop forcing kids to learn stuff they do not care about. Theatrical talents are wasted here. Use them elsewhere!

Thanks for the message. However based on my experience "Christians" typically have no problem criticizing people when it's convenient. In fact, they seem to be addicted to criticizing people, thinking it's their job to look for people to criticize. They don't take criticitism in return well at all. How hypocritical. Usually, I would love for "Christians" to close that hole they misuse to give their unnecessary 2 cents with. It's awful being around them. They go around seeking to find people to criticize and force to go to their church of hypocrites. They deflect any critism whatsoever and tell me I am sinning because I refuse to attend their sinning church. What is the point of being fake in a church building?

I hit an opera note at many times and the old English always works. Some dance moves. The whispering fluctuations yes I testify those do work. Just some theatre drama effects ..just ignoring them also at times and continuing my lesson even when they are not interested generally brings them back to finding some focus...( essentially the key is not allowong myself to getting frustrated, not taking it personal..and keeping it as light as possible) good video.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Causes of teacher burnout are: 1. Busy work from administrators like book reviews and portfolios. 2. Not valuing a teacher's personal time with Math nights, etc. which takes hours of prep for a dog and pony show that means nothing in the long run. 3. Insubordination laws which force teachers to do busy work as long as it is legal. 4. Parents and students not being accountable for low test scores with teachers being fully accountable even when students purposely fail the test. 5. Having to make calls and emails about students failing the class even though the parents have full access to their children's grades.

All of the dull adults you know started out as dull kids so there is really nothing special about kids. So plainly kids do not have unlimited potential. And more to the point, kids who dislike academics should be diverted into trades training to improve their chances of earning a decent living. Flunking out of college does no one any good. Becoming a master plumber just might make you at least half way rich some day. That’s certainly better than flunking out of the local open admissions commuter state university for all the kids living in their parents’ basements. So do you want to be the guy to teach all of the dullards who are not benefiting from school? Of course not. And I just described two-thirds of the kids you’ll see in your classroom if you screw up and decide to waste several years teaching school.

Recently I've felt like my teacher is burnt out, I wanted to double check, my peers are quite possibly some of the worst I've seen in a long while, I contribute to that too. I just want to make my teacher feel better about her boring job. See I study psychology and I can notice signs in people that others don't, this includes my teachers, but it's a little unsettling when a young person practically puts your feelings into words, I'm still very young, I'm below the age of fifteen, most people tell me I act older than my age, which I take pride in, I can have meaningful conversations with adults and my teachers can take breaks from being teachers when they talk to me. This doesn't change the fact I don't know how to approach them about stuff like this, I was hoping getting a point of view from an educator would help me understand, thank you very much for educating people on these topics, but I suppose it's just your job, you are a teacher after all.
